South West Regional League: Buea United records pioneer defeat under coach Agbor.. By Jemea Teke Ndumbe

Two days after the appointment of coach Agbor Emmanuel as new coach of Buea United, the  mountain boys have recorded their first league defeat as they bowed  to Mount Cameroon FC of Buea at the Molyko stadium ,Saturday June 01, 2019.

The lava boys opened scores through Clinton Nchua during the first half . Poor execution in front of goal on the part of Buea United, gave their opponents   the confidence to hold on to their lead till full time making it 1-0 in favour of Mount Cameroon FC.

Talking to RNNR reporter, coach Agbor Emmanuel praised his team's performance but was not happy with the results.

"Well the match was not bad but the result was poor. I was very happy with our step up but its just part of the game, little mistakes cause dearly". He outlined.


He expressed  optimism stating that   he still believes that his team can still make it to the mini interpol.

Buea United has played seven league, drawn five, lost one and won one.

Kagawa Mondi, the charismatic play maker: who is he?

Mondi Kagawa is a professional footballer with the Cameroon professional football  league.  He currently ply his trade with Public works department ( PWD) , a division one outfit from the North west regional capital of Cameroon. The batibo native from Momo division, has been with PWD since 2014. A year after he completed secondary school studies at Government technical high school Bamenda, obtaining a baccalaureate in wood work. With PWD,  Kagawa is counted amongst the armada of players that helped the team in 2018 to get promoted to top-tier league.
