Religion : Douala Imam steps down Following Ramadan disagreement...by Ingrid Kengne


Ibrahim Mubarak,the Imam of the Douala Central Mosque has announced his resignation, after a disagreement over this year's Ramadan Feast.

He reported this on Tuesday  ,after the morning prayers at the mosque. He cited the disagreement over which this year's edition of the Ramadan feast was handled.

He used the opportunity to apologize to parents whose children did not sit for the exams on Tuesday 03 June. The absenteeism of this students was as a result of  confusion over the date of the feast of Ramadan. Some students stayed at home believing that it was a public holiday.

Kagawa Mondi, the charismatic play maker: who is he?

Mondi Kagawa is a professional footballer with the Cameroon professional football  league.  He currently ply his trade with Public works department ( PWD) , a division one outfit from the North west regional capital of Cameroon. The batibo native from Momo division, has been with PWD since 2014. A year after he completed secondary school studies at Government technical high school Bamenda, obtaining a baccalaureate in wood work.
