Over 79 pro_MRC protesters released..by Ingrid Kengne


The 79 protesters of the Cameroon Renaissance Movement arrested over the weekend have been set free.

According to Maurice Kamto's spokesman, Olivier Bibou Nissack, 19 persons had been released on June 02 and 60 others the following day.


However, 19 others arrested in the economic capital  Douala, during this manifestation have appeared before judge at the Magistrate's court in Douala.

All together, about 354 protesters were arrested and detained following the protests in Douala, Yaounde, Nkongsamba, Bafoussam and Bagangte.

Kagawa Mondi, the charismatic play maker: who is he?

Mondi Kagawa is a professional footballer with the Cameroon professional football  league.  He currently ply his trade with Public works department ( PWD) , a division one outfit from the North west regional capital of Cameroon. The batibo native from Momo division, has been with PWD since 2014. A year after he completed secondary school studies at Government technical high school Bamenda, obtaining a baccalaureate in wood work. With PWD,  Kagawa is counted amongst the armada of players that helped the team in 2018 to get promoted to top-tier league.
