Minister of livestock presides over International Day of Milk in the west region...by Fabove Gael


 The 3th edition of the International Day of Milk has been celebrated in the West Region of the country under the theme:THE PRODUCTION OF MILK AS OPPORTUNITY FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT.

The day is celebrated in the world every 1st of June but was postponed  in Cameroon to 12 of June 2019.

The ceremony was presided by the Minister of Livestock, fishery and animal industry Dr.Taiga In Didango a small village in Koutaba subdivision, under Noun division in the West region of Cameroon.

Mr. Taiga in his speech, have encourage cattle owners to boost the production of milk in the  Noun Division.

He has donated bags of feed to cattle owners and promise to build an extraction center in Didango come 2020.

The celebration saw the exhibition of many products made out of milk like butter,hair oil .

Many people left the ceremonial ground very happy with the minister's visit.The minister of livestock celebrate the International Day of Milk in the west region.

Kagawa Mondi, the charismatic play maker: who is he?

Mondi Kagawa is a professional footballer with the Cameroon professional football  league.  He currently ply his trade with Public works department ( PWD) , a division one outfit from the North west regional capital of Cameroon. The batibo native from Momo division, has been with PWD since 2014. A year after he completed secondary school studies at Government technical high school Bamenda, obtaining a baccalaureate in wood work. With PWD,  Kagawa is counted amongst the armada of players that helped the team in 2018 to get promoted to top-tier league.
