FIFA 69th Annual congress in Paris: Infantino re-elected president....by Jemea Teke Ndumbe


 The 69 annual FIFA congress took place in Paris,France.With the re-election of Mr. Giani Infantino as president of the organization.

The 9th president in the history of the organization was  elected in an extraordinary congress in February 2016 following the 6 years ban of Joseph Sepp Blatter for corruption scandals.

The former UEFA secretary general, now starts his first full four years term of office after running unopposed in the last three years.


Infantino had an absolute majority vote from the 211 member associations of FIFA and will head the office till 2023.

He thanked the FIFA congress for his re-election and promised to develope football and take the organization to where it rightfully belongs.



FIFA's supreme legislative body approved the activity report and financial statement for 2018 as well as the detailed budget for 2020, Which includes 810 million dollars allocated for investments in football.

The 70th FIFA Congress will take place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia in May 2020.

Kagawa Mondi, the charismatic play maker: who is he?

Mondi Kagawa is a professional footballer with the Cameroon professional football  league.  He currently ply his trade with Public works department ( PWD) , a division one outfit from the North west regional capital of Cameroon. The batibo native from Momo division, has been with PWD since 2014. A year after he completed secondary school studies at Government technical high school Bamenda, obtaining a baccalaureate in wood work.
