AFCON DAY 1:Egypt triumph over Zimbabwe 1-0....by Fabove Gael


The first half of the game saw the menace of Zimbabwean players by the of Egyptian team

Though the national outfits of Zimbabwe tried to withstand, Egyptian player Trezeguet shaken their net at exactly 41 minutes of the first 45 minutes.

The second half of the game saw more pressure coming from both teams with numerous attempts.

 Goalkeeper Sibanda of Zimbabwe went out at the 78 minutes of the the game due to a spring , leaving Elvis to finish  the remaining 12 minutes of the encounter.

Egypt has grasp her 3 points difficultly as  many did not believe that Zimbabwe  will receive only 1 goal from Egypt .

Kagawa Mondi, the charismatic play maker: who is he?

Mondi Kagawa is a professional footballer with the Cameroon professional football  league.  He currently ply his trade with Public works department ( PWD) , a division one outfit from the North west regional capital of Cameroon. The batibo native from Momo division, has been with PWD since 2014. A year after he completed secondary school studies at Government technical high school Bamenda, obtaining a baccalaureate in wood work. With PWD,  Kagawa is counted amongst the armada of players that helped the team in 2018 to get promoted to top-tier league.
