The General manager of SONARA Paul Simo Njonou has issued a realise putting all production units on a temporal standby.
Following the Friday may 31, night fire incident , a crisis meeting has been held by the management of the oil refinery company and it was stated that flames broke out in the company at about 9:30.
SONARA has incurred material damages leading to the temporal suspension of production in all the units .While for the meantime, all contractual engagement have been put on a standby .
Mr Paul simo Njonou signing the release, said more information will be issued in the days ahead.
Minister of water and energy Gaston Eloundou Essomba Energy arrived limbe friday to see the remains of the National Refining Company ( SONARA) after the fire incident .
