2019 AFCON ,Egypt : Cameroon in, Comoros out , CAS confirms.. By Jemea Teke Ndumbe


 The Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS), has passed it judgement on the case filed by the Comoros Football Federation against Cameroon national outfit, to withdraw her from this year's AFCON after been stripped off her hosting rights.


 The Comoros FA have been insisting that CAF should apply article 92.3 which states that If a country's hosting right is withdrawn from her, she will pay a fine of 500,000 US dollars and will also be suspended from playing the AFCON  of that year.


After listening to both parties on May 29,2019,  CAS finally passed the judgement on Tuesday June 4, 2019 confirming Cameroon's participation in this year's AFCON.

The five time champions will therefore defend their crown in the AFCON schedule for Egypt this month.

Kagawa Mondi, the charismatic play maker: who is he?

Mondi Kagawa is a professional footballer with the Cameroon professional football  league.  He currently ply his trade with Public works department ( PWD) , a division one outfit from the North west regional capital of Cameroon. The batibo native from Momo division, has been with PWD since 2014. A year after he completed secondary school studies at Government technical high school Bamenda, obtaining a baccalaureate in wood work.
