Sports: Cup of CMR, transparency , a major draw back in southwest... By jemea Teke Ndumbe

Once again football in the southwest region of Cameroon,  has been marked by lack of transparency.

it was agreed in text that the two semifinal matches will be played at thesame time to avoid match fixing  since there will be no final after the semis like in previous years but the riverse is true as the two games were played at the molyko stadium.

The first match between best stars and trevizor ended in 5-1  infavour of best star.

With the score line of the first game; it was clearly believed that there will be match fixing at the end of the second game.

As pundits saw it coming that there will be less goals in the second game between EEMSA and CINYODEY so that the best loser team should come from this game and this was a reality as CINYODEF though carried the day by 1-0, the game was characterized by match fixing because some of the chances created by both sides were squandered.

Speaking to Kengo Raymond head coach of EEMSA after the game, he said he was  very comfortable with the out come ,though  acknowledging that he  thought they were to play in limbe but however not  suprised that they instead  played in Buea. From his words one can say that EEMSA knew they had already qualified even before their game against CINYODEF.

This is because EEMSA is one of those teams who  protested against decisions taken by the league. From all indications   one can conclude that some dirty water has passed under the bridge.

The three representatives for SWR at the cup of cameroon round of 32 are best stars academic limbe, CINYODER FC of buea and EEMSA tiko.
