South Africa : popular Sports TV anchor Marawa leaves super sports.... By Jemea Teke Ndumbe


Popular sport presenter with supersport TV, Robert Marawa,is no longer part of Africa's leading sport chanel.He has been laid-off his supersport program that takes place every thursday night at 8:30pm.

Marawa has posted on twitter saying that he has been told not to come to the program,"Thursday night live with Marawa" , which is broadcast on SuperSport  at 8:30pm.

"I recieved a text around 18h50 last night, informing me that i should not bother coming to the studio for "thursday night live with Marawa show on supersport TV",he recounted.


He has thanked all those who have supported his journey as a sports caster and those he has worked with at supersport through twitter.

 Marawa's fans have expressed their frustration with the news of his departure, and are still demanding why he has been restricted from his program.

He has responded to his fans by saying"One day you'll all know, it will cost me and  my life but you will know".

Though he has not appeared on his show, his co-presenter Thato Moeng handled the show on her own.



Marawa has been a leading media personality for more than 20years and has been working with supersports for over a decade.

 The communicator has won the Award for the best sports show, at the liberty Radio .And has also been nominated as the best sports presenter this year.

Supersport management on their part, are in the process of an exciting refresh of its local presenter line-up which will be unveiled as part of their new football season campaign.

 The media house has thanked Marawa for his great contribution to the station.

Kagawa Mondi, the charismatic play maker: who is he?

Mondi Kagawa is a professional footballer with the Cameroon professional football  league.  He currently ply his trade with Public works department ( PWD) , a division one outfit from the North west regional capital of Cameroon. The batibo native from Momo division, has been with PWD since 2014. A year after he completed secondary school studies at Government technical high school Bamenda, obtaining a baccalaureate in wood work.
