Over One Hundred And Sixty Five Ex Fighters Have Surrendered  To The Government Of Cameroon .


Chiar Man of the disarmament , demobilisation and re- intergration( DDR) committee says the ex fighters  have layed down their arms to embrace normal life .

About a hundred and nine , are in more rehabilitation center, thirty in number and twenty one in break center. Fai  Yengu Francis while giving an account to the prime minister, Joseph Dion Ngute,  stated that "more fighters will surrender in the months ahead " 

  Many cameroonians have questioned the identity of people who presented themselves as ex fighters most especially in the North West and South West regions.                     


  It should be noted that the DDR committee was created in 2018 , following a presidential decree. The body was put in place  to facilitate the process of dissarming those that have taken arms against the  republic of Cameroon.
