Payoffs 2019: UMS heighten chances of being league chamipons...by Romeo Nkenyi


 Union movement sportif de loum (UMS)  have increased their chances of emerging this year's league one championship winners in Cameroon .


The loum boys edged sister club stade Renard one nil, Saturday at the Yaounde military stadium during day two of the 2019 playoffs of the top tier league.


 The lone goal of the encounter was scored by Francis Joel Tombi at the second half. This after both teams had separated zero  goal on either sides during the first segment of the game.

The Moungo derby was characterised by a panoply of goal scoring opportunities though squandered often by Stade Renard .

 Coach laurent Djam and boys now have 6 points meanwhile  Aboubakar Souleymanou and stade Renard have just one point in two outings.

The Yaounde military stadium was also the play ground for the league two west regional challenge between Panthere sportive du Nde  and Bamboutos of Mbouda .

The equation was made easier for  the Nde team at the 2nd minute with Carlos Pokah opening score.



 The score remained so for Charles  Kamdem  and lads until half Time.


The second segment  of the match will witness a born again team of the Mbouda multiplying goal scoring means,  till the 75th minute when Cedrick  Platini Kaham equalised.

The draw game nurtured hopes for Coach  Andre  Anicet  Mbarga Foe and the massive Mbouda supporters who turned out to believe that their darling  team can go far in the playoffs.

Saturday's results slowed down panthere's rapid promotion velocity.  Charles Kamdem and boys now have 4points in two encounters while Bamboutos has got just a point.

Day two playoff games continue this Sunday in some stadia across the country with exciting fixtures  in the menu.
