Discover : Ecole de football Espoir du Caire, basin of excellent soccer skills... By Fabove Gael


Ecole de Football Espoir du Caire of Yaounde was created on 16th of January, 2012 by a young optimistic  Cameroonian,  passionate soccer lover, Steve Donald Timi. He was Assisted  by  some close friends.

The football academy is located at the carriere neighborhood .


Steve Donald Timi was born on February, 03,1995 in Yaounde. He hails from Baganté, Nde division of west region, Cameroon.

He   began  his academy  with few children , but lately it is  witnessing a   tremendous growth in population .

The football  centre  trains kids in diverse categories,  in the  likes of U13,U15,U17 and  even the Adult  team  which is said to be  doing well in centre regional league .

 Every category at the academy has got it's own training schedule . U15 and U17 train every Tuesdays and Wednesdays.while the U13 team trains, on Wednesdays and Thursdays .

the  division three outfit  have their practice sessions every morning as from 8:00am.

The U17 squad  has traveled  Gabon twice, to take on the U17  selection of Union Sportif,a Gabonese local side.

They lost the first game 3nil  before winning  the second match  3 goals to 2 against their Gabonese opponents.

 Steve  Donald Timi hopes  to have full support from Cameroon's football officials in this programme which is aimed at  projecting young football talents in the country .

He also wishes to stop at nothing  if he has internationally aid from renowned football clubs.

A part from being the pioneer of this academy, Mr Steve Donald Timi is currently in pursue of his HND in computer science.


His heart prayer is that parents whose children are in his academy, will joint him to promote these talented future stars

They are currently preparing for a  tournament organised by Challenge Foot de Jeune,promoters of football in Yaounde that will begin on the 17th of June ,2019.

Kagawa Mondi, the charismatic play maker: who is he?

Mondi Kagawa is a professional footballer with the Cameroon professional football  league.  He currently ply his trade with Public works department ( PWD) , a division one outfit from the North west regional capital of Cameroon. The batibo native from Momo division, has been with PWD since 2014. A year after he completed secondary school studies at Government technical high school Bamenda, obtaining a baccalaureate in wood work. With PWD,  Kagawa is counted amongst the armada of players that helped the team in 2018 to get promoted to top-tier league. Mondi Kagawa , has netted 3goals so far this season but his charisma as team captain and most especially as midfielder has left many often fall in love with his play style.
