May 11, 2019 clocks exactly 38 years that Bob Marley, a legendary Reggae musician kicked the bucket ,after being diagnosed of acra lentiginous melanoma in 1977.
The father of nine was born on February 6,1945 in nine miles, British Jamaica.
Bob Marley is said to be famous for his genre of raggae music produced.
The Jamaican artist released exciting musical pieces like "Exodus" in 1977,"Natty Dread" in 1974, and above all the popular "One Love/people get ready" in 1965.
Before his death,the rastafarian sold more than 20 million records throughout his career. This makes him to be counted amongst top music icons in the world.
Robert Nesta Marley was posthumously honoured by the Jamaican government after his death, designating him with the nation's order of merit award.
Decades after his departure, Marley's music remains widely acclaim.His commitment in fighting oppression has continued via his foundation which is devoted to helping people and organizations in developing nations.
