Sports hour, Royal fm 88.4: the top of sports programmes


Sports hour is a an English sports programme over Royal FM 88.4 Yaounde. The programme is produced by the English desk of the media, presented by the editor in chief of the radio ,Abel Samari.

The sports programme is aired every Sunday's,  from 7am to 8:30am.

  Within the one hour, thirty minute  invited renowned sports analysts in the likes of Raymond Elume, Afeseh Apong ,hycenth Chia and Romeo Nkenyi counteract facts and propose solutions on issues relating diverse sports disciplines in Cameroon and beyond.

Sports hour's editorial is taken care of by Etienne Mendjo mean while news paper review and the other side of sports, which are some interesting slots  of the show are handled by Grace Mukake and promise Akanke respectively.

At the production assistance is Mac Walters.

So far the programme is being  listened by many sports journalists, sports lovers within  and without Yaounde.

sports hour fans have the possibility to follow the programme on the facebook page of Royal FM, and in turn they can contribute via phone calls and SMS.

Kagawa Mondi, the charismatic play maker: who is he?

Mondi Kagawa is a professional footballer with the Cameroon professional football  league.  He currently ply his trade with Public works department ( PWD) , a division one outfit from the North west regional capital of Cameroon. The batibo native from Momo division, has been with PWD since 2014. A year after he completed secondary school studies at Government technical high school Bamenda, obtaining a baccalaureate in wood work. With PWD,  Kagawa is counted amongst the armada of players that helped the team in 2018 to get promoted to top-tier league.
